Looks like there will be frost on the pumpkins soon, someone turned the heat off on Labour Day.   Chilly and rainy seems to be the weather for now.

Children that are going back are in school now, some are doing all lessons from home and will not be returning to the class rooms this fall.  Keep a watch out for the flashing lights of school buses and children playing along roadsides.

Fall colours are becoming evident on some trees.  Soon we will have beautiful bright colourful trees and forests to enjoy for a few weeks before the leaves fall and blanket the ground.

Still lots of time to enjoy the water and outdoor fun.

Township crews are busy on road repairs and maintenance trying to get everything wrapped up before the winter.

In the next month there will be electronic Community Information sign boards erected at the Golden Lake Fire Hall and the Township office.  The boards will display current messages and upcoming events in the community.

Campfires are permitted and burn permits are available for larger fires.

The next Council meeting is September 15th at 7pm and residents can listen in if they would like.

Township washrooms will close after Thanksgiving.
