SUMMARY:Office Closed
DESCRIPTION:At the June 21,2022 Regular Council meeting Council passed resolution 7.8 to accept the revised summer hours.\nReport to Council.\nIn 2021, staff presented a report to Council to close the Township office on Wednesdays for July and August in 2021 and 2022. This request was approved by Council at the July 6, 2021 meeting.\nThis closure allowed staff to dedicate time to work on outstanding projects and backlogged work.\nStaff noted that there were minimum interruptions to residents as the closure was in the middle of the week.\nStaff is recommending for 2022 that the office is closed on Wednesday from July 6th to August 24th inclusive. The office will remain open on August 31, 2022 because the third installment of taxes is due on this date.\nStaff will do an advanced media campaign to inform the residents of the office closure on Wednesday.\n
