National Shelter Appreciation Week
From November 2 to 8, communities across Canada will mark National Shelter Appreciation Week. It’s a time to recognize the essential role animal shelters play in animal welfare and our community.
The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society works closely with municipalities like North Algona Wilberforce to support animals and the people who care about them.
From adoption, emergency boarding, and animal care to bylaws, emergency response, and community outreach, our animal centres are vital partners in creating safe, compassionate communities.
North Algona Wilberforce would like to recognize this week and express appreciation for the dedicated staff and volunteers who support animal services in our region.
