A series of low‑pressure systems will bring significant freezing rain across southern Ontario. In some areas, precipitation may not freeze immediately, increasing the risk of localized flooding.
This Significant Weather Event means winter maintenance timelines are temporarily suspended until conditions improve.
County crews remain active on the roads, but it may take longer than usual to achieve minimum maintenance standards.
