The organizers of the Bonnechere Cup would like to thank the North Algona Wilberforce Township and the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) for supporting the 50th Anniversary of this exciting annual event.
FedDev Ontario funding was put towards the following site upgrades: high-capacity green septic system, widening doorways, upgrading kitchen equipment, and installing solar lighting around the track to allow for activities after dark. The project helped increase patron capacity on-site, extend the schedule of events, increase site capacity for food vending, and increase diversity of patrons through accessibility upgrades.
